The Archivi di Ricerca Mazzini originate from Attilio Mazzini’s passion for anything which is “special” in an item and for its ability to “communicate” something to those who see it. This enthusiasm started at the end of the 1970s, when Attilio began a meticulous search through original colours, shapes and designs, which he has been collecting and storing; the garments and accessories in his collection currently number more than 400,000.
The Archivi di Ricerca Mazzini are the place where each item acquires an added value, open to a variety of ideas and creative elements. It is more than a “fashion museum” concept: it is a cultural project rich in stylistic contents, geared towards companies in the fashion industry, schools and professionals.
